Misthaven camping resort

The guest assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoors environment while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking and swimming, or being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that the Resort and its owners, agents and employees  are not liable for injuries of property or damages resulting from such causes.

Misthaven Resort is a private, membership only, LGBTQ+ campground, so we ask our guests to follow a few simple rules to ensure that everyone enjoys his stay:

Members must be at least 18 years of age to enter. You may be asked to provide a valid photo ID as proof of your age.

Memberships are required and are $15 per year and are valid for one year. Example: 7/14/22 through 7/13/23. 

All members will be issued a wristband that must be worn during his or her stay. Members 18 - 20 will be required to wear special wristbands indicative of their age.  They will be issued at check in and MUST always remain on you. If your wrist band comes off during your stay, reach out to a camp host to verify your reservation type and issue a new wristband. Refusal to wear a wristband will result in ejection from the property.

All reservations are taken on a first-come first-served basis. Therefore, early reservations are encouraged. All reservations must be paid in full at or before the time of the reservation. 

All tents, trailers and RVs must be parked or placed on the campsite pad. No tents allowed on RV or cabin sites. Please park cars in designated parking areas only. 

Everyone staying overnight will need to be included on the reservation. The primary reservation holder is responsible for all members of his party.   

Only one vehicle may be parked at campsites. Additional vehicles must park in the designated parking areas. Do not park on vacant lots.... you may end up getting towed. If additional parking is necessary, please see a campground attendant. We are a very small resort, and our parking is limited. If you have multiple vehicles in your party, decide which one stays at the campsite and all the rest go to the overflow/ visitor parking area. This includes golf carts. NO CHARGING OF EV'S AT CAMPSITES!!!

Those who wish to have a golf cart, may only have either the golf cart or personal vehicle at their campsite. 

No driving on grass or hiking trails.

Daily visitors to the campground must check-in with a park attendant. The daily visitor fee is $10.00 per person. A daily visitor is one who is not tied to a reservation. An additional $10.00 fee is required to upgrade from a day pass to an overnight stay.  

QUIET HOURS: 10 PM to 7 AM. 

Illegal drugs are not welcome here. 

Alcohol is permitted, but guests are expected to remain safe and not cause disturbances. For safety reasons, no glass containers are allowed near the pool area or on the disc golf course. Any campers 18-20 MAY NOT consume alcohol!

Restrooms are to always remain UNLOCKED. Please clean up after yourself, and don’t leave your personal items in the showers. 

No lifeguards on duty: Swim at your own risk. 

Please dispose of trash including cigarette butts in trash bins. Trash must be bagged. NO soda or beer cans in fire rings. Please do not leave trash outside overnight and take all you trash with you upon checking out. Make one final stop at the dumpster to heave in all your trash before you go. 

No car washing or filling water tanks. NO CHARGING EV'S AT CAMPSITES!

Please do not move fire rings or picnic tables. 

Nudity is permitted ONLY IN DESIGNATED AREAS. NO public sexual activity in ANY area.. Be mindful of our neighbors. If you can see them, they can see you. 

Clothing must be worn at the store, eateries, and in any areas where signage mandates clothing.

Please be respectful of delivery, service, construction, or other personnel who may be on property. 

We love pets! All breeds are welcome. Keep pets on a leash and clean up after them. Pets may not be left unattended at tent sites. We reserve the right to remove hostile pets from the parks. Do not allow your pet to roam free without you or bark non-stop at your camp site while you are away.

Specific campsites or cabins may be requested, but are not guaranteed. We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin by paying our applicable locking fee. If you opt for the locking fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but NOT the specific unit number. Misthaven and our team may adjust your reservation to a site that will better accomodate your RV.

We have adopted dynamic rates which fluctuate based on occupancy similar to the hotel and airline industry. This means as the campground approaches 100% capacity, the algorithm will steadily raise the daily campsite rate. So, rates will vary based upon availability and are subject to change with each search. Thus, the rate you see for a campsite on Wednesday may be more than it was when you checked on Tuesday.

Check-in time is between noon and 4 pm. We do have an early access option beginning at  11am, but it is available only if site is vacant (i.e. nobody in the  site before you). It also involves a fee based on the time of check-in.

Early access (before check-in time) does not guarantee site/cabin will be ready or available at time of arrival. Early access only guarantees access to the campground and campground amenities, which requires parking in overflow. We absolutely cannot accommodate access prior to 11am, so  please plan your travel accordingly.

Check-out time is 11am. Extended access is available for $10 during non-peak season and $25 during peak season to stay in the park until  6pm. 

All RV's must be escorted to their camp sites. Plese check in at the store, and we will gladly guide you to where you need to be.
