Our Location
Misthaven Resort is located almost in the direct center of multiple major urban areas, including Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis and Louisville. And most of you can get here via interstate and regional 4-lane highway. In fact, most of you won't drive on a country road until the last two miles to our campground.
We have an on-site disc golf course
And not just ANY course.... the famous Honey Bear Hollow Disc Golf Course. The oldest course in the state of Indiana! The course is free to play if you are a member and staying on-site. It's also open to the general public. Golfers must be 18 years old or older to enter the property.
You can park at your campsite
We allow ONE vehicle or golf cart per camp site. If your party has multiple cars, decide whose car is going to be at the campsite. All other cars will need to park in the overflow parking area.

Everyone loves a campfire. Hauling firewood? Not so much. Here at Misthaven Resort, simply place an order for firewood and we'll deliver it to you. And we don't just deliver firewood. We'll also bring some kindling to get it started. For about $15 we'll deliver 9 - 10 pieces of firewood.... enough for a couple hour's worth (about the same

No one wants to run out of propane that's feeding their RV stove or water heater. We can fill your portable tank for you, and deliver it to your campsite.

We're close enough to small towns if you're having a Big Mac attack or absolutely need something from WalMart or Home Depot. Also most of our campsites can get 5G cell service. And, pizza delivery will come to the campground.
EV charging nearby
We don't allow charging your EV at your campsite, but there are four universal Go Indy EV chargers about a mile and a half away. They're at the JJ's convenience mart where McDonald's is. They're not 250kw superchargers, but they should give you enough juice to get to the closest one in Kokomo.
We have an on-site stocked general store
We carry most of the basics, including snacks and beverages, batteries, charging cords and camping supplies. And of course, we have the disc golf pro shop carrying a variety of discs and gear.
We allow golf carts
Bring your golf carts. Just drive responsibly, the same as you would with your car. **No motorized vehicles on the disc golf course**

Indiana Beach amusement park is a short drive away, as are numerous state parks and other getaways. There are kayaking and canoe rentals on the Wabash River, the Nickel Plate biking trail that treks through the region and countless opportunities to hit local dining and shopping venues.

We take safety seriously. We have numerous security cameras up to help keep an eye on the place. Also, the sheriff's department is a three-minute response time away, and the Indiana State Police department is even closer. You will be safe here.
We're quiet!
Everyone's been to a campsite that's right next to an outrageous highway. Misthaven Resort is tucked away in a quiet corner of Indiana. That's the way it should be. No highways nearby full of screaming trucks and motorcycles. No car horns blaring all day long. No city buses hissing as they stop at every corner. No ATV's zipping past your campsite. Leave all that behind and join us at Misthaven Resort for some peace and quiet.
All of our sites....
... have their own picnic table and fire ring. No more sharing tables with your neighbors or asking them if they plan to use the fire ring the following night.
We recycle!
Recycling is big here. Bring us your recyclables (aluminum cans, steel cans, soda bottles, cardboard, paper, etc.). Bring them to the dumpster near the office and drop them in to the appropriate bin. Once a week or so we'll haul them off to the recycling center. We can't take just anything, though. Please don't bring us your old tires, junk electronics, batteries, CFL bulbs or used motor oil. We can only accept common everyday household recyclables as mentioned above.
