Making reservations and cancellations
Please plan your year out
So that everyone has a more fair chance at making reservations, we don't open up the entire year for online bookings on January 1st. We open up 50% of all available sites per month on January 1st. We open up the remainder 50% of each month's reservation calendar by the 15th of the prior month.
For example, 50% of June's available sites will be available for reservations on January 1, with the remaining 50% of June's reservations being made available on May 15th. This gives the early birds an opportunity to book their favorite dates months in advance, and allows others to plan out their reservations dates later on in the year. Each visitor is allowed to make two reservations under his name per month.
Cancellations
Please be absolutely certain you want the dates you are reserving online. If you find you are unable to keep a reservation FOR ANY REASON, let us know, ASAP. We will attempt to find someone to take your reservation. You may also try to find someone on your own to take your reservation. If no one steps forward to take your reservation, you will still be required to pay for that reservation, even if you do not show up. We know, some people will see this as unfair. What's just as unfair is campground management losing out on a weekend of income due to a visitor's sudden cancellation.
Online Reservations Coming Soon
Interactive online reservation system is being developed right now. This will allow you to set you own reservations using an interactive mapping feature, with which you will be able ot see real-time site availability .
